- Approximately 425 taxis representing 48 taxi companies are permitted in Indianapolis.
- Pick-up fees range from $1.25 - $5.
- There is an additional fee per 1/5 mile that is $.40 and $.65 for each extra passenger.
- $5 is the flat fee that can be charged for Downtown rides.
